One of our objectives at ToucanLearn is to encourage you, as a parent, to spend quality time with your babies and toddlers to learn together. A we have said before, 'Two Can Learn, Better Than One!'. What can you do to encourage your children to learn? You should be joining in the activities that you do with your children, you should provide commentary during and discuss the activity after. You could also suggest ways to change the activity as you undertake it. This will all help with the development of language and imagination, as well as concentrating on the key skill that the activity focuses on - one of Making, Moving, Learning or Speaking.
