Toddlers and young children love to meet babies, and they also thrive from meeting their own peers who they can learn from. Attending toddler groups and nurseries allows your children to interact with others of the same age who they can learn from. Taking your child to nursery exposes them, for the first time, to a learning environment in which you aren't involved. It can be strange when your children go to such a group for the first time and sudddenly they come back and tell you about incidents that have happened to them, but of which you have no knowledge! Usually you know everything that your children have been exposed to - but suddenly they have other influences!
